Singapore and Japan: a recap of our trips to Asia
Tech Week Singapore and CEATEC 2026: two trips in under a month, two markets, and Lbooking EWOSOFT AGENT in our luggage.
Two trips in under a month
Around the turn of September and October we visited two markets in Asia that matter to us. First came Tech Week Singapore 2026 (September 29-30), and two weeks later CEATEC 2026 (October 13-16) at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo. We took our flagship product to both: Lbooking EWOSOFT AGENT.
Singapore: a mission of Małopolska entrepreneurs
We flew to Singapore as part of a mission of entrepreneurs from the Małopolska region, supported by the European Funds for Małopolska programme. The week opened with a business meeting at the Singapore Business Federation, attended by the Polish Ambassador to Singapore and a representative of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, followed by individual B2B talks.
The next two days belonged to the show at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. The conference programme was dominated by topics we work on every day: data quality and readiness for AI, responsible AI and risk management, and the road from prototype to production. That illustrates why we took a hospitality product to an infrastructure event: Lbooking EWOSOFT AGENT is first and foremost an AI system running in production, on real data.
To close the mission we visited Emerhub Singapore, where we discussed legal and tax requirements and Singapore's role as a gateway to ASEAN markets. The trip ended with a joint wrap-up with experts on the Asian market.
Japan: four days at CEATEC
We travelled to Japan on a study trip built around CEATEC 2026, the country's largest digital innovation exhibition. We spent four days at Makuhari Messe, dividing our time between exhibitors and conference sessions. This year's theme was "Transformation".
Japan interests us for a specific reason: it faces a shrinking workforce alongside growing tourist traffic. That is the same question our system started from: how can a smaller team serve more guests without losing quality.
What comes next
We see both trips as the start of our work in Asian markets rather than a one-off visit. We want to keep talking with technology partners, integrators and hotel groups for whom AI in operations is part of the plan, not an experiment. Our next stops are AWS re:Invent 2026 and CES 2027 in Las Vegas.
Let us talk
Did we meet in Singapore or Japan, or would you like to talk about AI in hotel operations?
