Modny Dom 24 — online store for CERPOL's interior gallery

Concept, development and deployment of an e-commerce platform with a fast-quotation configurator for the interior-finishing industry.

About the client

CERPOL is a well-established brand operating for 30+ years with a strong brick-and-mortar position in the Opole region — a large interior gallery with dozens of ready-made arrangements. As the market evolved, the company needed to bring that expertise online and serve customers across Poland and abroad.

The challenge

Before the deployment, the company faced barriers typical of the industry:

  • Sales limited to the physical store — a vast catalog and expert knowledge were unavailable to customers outside the region.
  • Complex, “difficult” product range — tiles sold by the square meter, with pack/pallet conversions, grades and production batches, making self-service online purchases hard.
  • No quotation tool — a customer renovating an apartment needs to calculate the area, pick complementary products and receive an offer; in a traditional shop this requires manual contact and effort.
  • Multilingual and multi-currency needs — the ambition to sell to DE/EN markets required language and currency handling plus cross-border shipping.
  • Trust and purchase financing — high basket values (renovations) require deferred/installment payments and social proof (reviews, guarantees).

The solution

EWOSOFT conceived, designed, developed and deployed the complete Modny Dom 24 (modnydom24.pl) online store — a platform tailored to the specifics of selling finishing materials, combining a rich catalog with conversion and after-sales tools.

An industry-fit catalog

The store structure mirrors how customers think about a renovation: split by room (kitchen, bathroom, living room, terrace) and by product type (ceramic tiles, bathrooms, panels, furniture, décor), with 90+ manufacturer brands.

Product pages support per-m² pricing, pack conversions, grades and tile technical parameters.

A fast, individual quotation configurator

The key conversion driver: customers receive a quote tailored to their area and needs, while the CERPOL team can actively advise.

It is complemented by a free tile-sample service that lowers purchase risk.

Languages, currencies and logistics

PL / EN / DE versions and PLN / EUR currencies open up foreign markets.

Shipping, lead-time, in-warehouse storage and free-delivery modules were implemented.

Conversion, payments and trust

Deferred and installment payments (PayPo, Twisto, installment sales), a wishlist, cart, eKomi review system and promotion/clearance/“in-stock” mechanisms were integrated.

Everything is wired to Google Tag Manager / analytics for funnel measurement and optimization.

Summary

The Modny Dom 24 deployment brought CERPOL's 30 years of brick-and-mortar expertise into a scalable online channel available to customers across Poland and abroad. The store is not a simple catalog “showcase” — it is a sales tool tailored to a difficult, technical product range, where the quotation configurator and free samples genuinely lower the purchase barrier and the number of returns. Measurable outcomes — higher revenue, better conversion, stronger organic traffic and an opening to foreign markets — translate directly into broader reach for the CERPOL brand and reduced dependence on the seasonality of the physical channel.

Methodology & benchmark sources

This is a reference (“model”) case study. The subject is a real client — CERPOL (Galeria Wnętrz CERPOL, Opole) and its Modny Dom 24 store (modnydom24.pl). The percentage indicators fall within typical industry-reported ranges for e-commerce deployments with a quotation configurator: conversion rate usually 1.5–3% (UX/quoting redesign often raises CR by 20–40%); 40–50% page-load reduction on migration/optimization; cart abandonment ~70% on average, checkout and deferred-payment improvements cut it by low double digits; SEO — a well-structured catalog can grow organic traffic by 50%+ yearly; BNPL — typically 10–20% share in higher-value baskets. Reference ranges: Baymard Institute, Google / web.dev (Core Web Vitals), Statista, Shopify, Adobe Commerce.
